EXCLUSIVE: Aditi Rao Hydari reveals the REAL reason behind her and Siddharth announcing their engagement via social media post

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much-awaited period drama show, Heeramandi, premieres on Netflix tomorrow. As the excitement for the SLB direction continues to increase, we at Bollywood Bubble bring you an exclusive video featuring a few of the show’s leading ladies and men. BB recently met up with Fardeen Khan, Aditi Rao Hydari, Taha Shah, Richa Chadha, Sharmin Segal and Sanjeeda Shaikh, and flipped through the pages of the ‘Memory Book’ with them.

During this fun segment, the actors all spoke up about the memories shown to them and a little about how, why or when it was clicked/posted. This included Aditi revealing the real reason behind announcing her and Siddharth’s engagement via a social media post, Fardeen recalling a moment spent with his father, late actor Firoz Khan and Sharmin Segal talking about her ‘mamu’ Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The clip also includes Taha gushing about meeting Shah Rukh Khan once, Richa talking about giving free hugs at Carter Road and Sanjeeda talking about her daughter joining her in a photoshoot.

When shown the picture she and her fiance, actor Siddharth posted to social media soon after their engagement, Aditi Rao Hydari revealed why the image was shared. Blushing, the actress said, “Hum recently… jab bhi kuch special hone wala hai hum… Mujhe shuruwat ek jageh se karni thi. woh mera family ka ek temple hai – that’s 400 years old, and I wanted to go there and do a pooja and we had a little engagement. (Whenever something is happening in our family, we go to our 400-year-old temple to seek blessings. For the engagement also we went there.) “

She continued, “Uske baad joh saari rumours ho rahe the, usko clarify karne ke liye, humne yeh photo leke Instagram pe daali. Kyuki meri maa ne bola, ‘Please, logo ko bata do. Mujhe calls aa rahe hai non stop. So it was a, ‘She said yes, he said yes’ (picture). (We shared this image on social media to clarify all the rumours that were doing the rounds at that time. My mother advised me to clarify things as she was getting back-to-back calls regarding it.) “
