EXCLUSIVE: Archana Puran Singh reveals if Aamir Khan was DRUNK while Raja Hindustani’s Tere Ishq Main Nachenge

Archana Puran Singh – who is well known for her portrayal of Ms Braganza in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, is loved for her comic timing both in Bollywood movies and on laughter shows on TV. The actress – who has been part of shows like Comedy Circus, The Kapil Sharma Show and now features in The Great Indian Kapil Show, recently opened up working with Aamir Khan in Raja Hindustani.

In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, Archana Puran Singh got candid about shooting the Raja Hindustani song ‘Tere Ishq Main Nachenge’, and whether or not Aamir had gotten drunk to shoot it. Scroll below to know the tea she spilt.

Archana Puran Singh on Aamir Khan being drunk

When asked about shooting the Raja Hindustani song and if Aamir Khan was drunk for it, Archana Puran Singh said, “The song was Tere Ishq Main Nachenge. I am not sure, but I have heard that Aamir Khan was drunk during this scene. His room was next to mine, but he didn’t drink in front of me. But, I think he might have experimented with the scene. He wasn’t very happy with the experiment. But I think he did.“

Continuing further, the actress opened up about receiving a Filmfare nomination for her performance in Raja Hindustani. She said, “I was so happy about this film because I was nominated for the Filmfare Awards. It was for doing this role and film, as a supporting actor. Also, it was the first and only time I was nominated, I never got any awards though. And Pradeep then came and told me that nomination is as good as getting an award. I understood that I wasn’t getting the award. But yes, look I was thin at one point in my life.”
