Priyanka Chopra’s paternal cousin and actress Mannara Chopra is all set to make her Hindi TV debut with Bigg Boss 17. During an interview once, Mannara shared how PeeCee have been protective about her and reviews her work. In an exclusive tete-a-tete with Bollywood Bubble, Mannara spilled beans about why she preferred not to take advice from her sisters Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti ahead of entering. She also shared that her family is not aware that she is participating in the Salman Khan-hosted show.

Sharing what was her family’s reaction and whether she spoke to sisters Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti ahead of entering Bigg Boss, Mannara insisted, “First of all, nobody in my family is aware that I plan to go for Bigg Boss. Whatever decisions I have taken for my life were very individualistic and not discussed or influenced by somebody. For most of my life, I have got my work with a lot of hardships and auditions. And I’m very proud of myself. I’m not in a habit to just go and tell people what I’m doing on my personal front.”

On not watching previous seasons of Bigg Boss

During the chat, she shared that she had been offered Bigg Boss several times but she was not prepared. “Yes, I was approached many times. But I think at that point in time, I was not that mentally mature to handle that kind of circumstances”, told Mannara.

She also added why she had not watched previous seasons as she was busy working and her family believed in starting a career at an early stage. The Zid actress stated, “I have very short attention when it comes to watching TV. Even in my house, we are like two sisters and we have been brought up in a situation where we have always been trained to be like working right from a very early stage. So, in our house, everyone just keeps working. So honestly, I haven’t followed Big Boss much, maybe the initial seasons. But that too, I did it for fun.”

On sharing stage space with Salman Khan

The actress recalled sharing screen space for an advertisement with the actor and shared, “I’m pretty excited to meet him again. I worked with him for an ad 8-9 years ago and clicked a picture with him.”
