EXCLUSIVE: Krishna Shroff reveals why she hasn’t entered Bollywood like brother Tiger Shroff; says, “I feel it is not for me”

Krishna Shroff is all set to participate in the Rohit Shetty-hosted reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 14. Krishna – who is the founder of MMA Matrix Fitness Centre, is the daughter of actor Jackie Shroff and sister of Tiger Shroff. Before heading to Romania for the stunt-based reality show, Krishna sat down with Bollywood Bubble for a quick chat about KKK, Bollywood, her fears, working with Rohit Shetty and lots more.

Krishna on her family’s reaction to KKK

Talking about her family’s reaction to her joining Khatron Ke Khiladi, Krishna Shroff says, “I’m known for doing the crazy things in the family. I’m the black sheep, I kind of stray away from the norm.” She continued, “There was an element of shock and definitely nervousness because it’s a world not just for me but for them too. Because what Dad and Tiger do is a very different thing, so definitely some nervousness, and a little bit of hesitation…”

Krishna adds, “But at the end of the day, I continued to do what I want to do and what I feel I know I can do. And I think my belief in myself gave them confidence as well and now I have nothing but support from them.”

Talking about how Tiger Shroff and Jackie Shroff motivated her, the actress says, “My father just said, ‘Go in bindaas.’ My brother I think… he’s always been my biggest support whatever I choose to do in life. He’s never tried to dim my life. He’s always allowed me to dream and strive for my goals.”

Krishna Shroff on not entering Bollywood 

Talking about staying away from acting, Krishna Shroff says, “I mean there is nothing deliberate about it.” Revealing why she hasn’t entered Bollywood, she added, “It’s just something that I feel is not for me. Just because I come from a (filmy) family doesn’t mean that’s necessarily what I should be doing. There is a world beyond it. I’m very blessed to be born into the family that I’ve been born into. The platform that I come from, I’m very proud of that. It’s allowed me to experiment and follow my passions and dreams. (It’s all possible) because of that support system that I have.”
