EXCLUSIVE: ‘Took me 11 years to make Chetna Pande mine, no one can take her away in 45 days,’ says her boyfriend Nishank Swami on joining Temptation Island

Actress Chetna Pande is no stranger to the reality show world, but her boyfriend Nishank Swami is stepping into it for the first time with the show Temptation Island. Spearheaded by Mouni Roy and Karan Kundrra, the show will test couples and their relationships. They will be put on an island with singles, and their loyalty will be tested there. In an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Nishank shared what makes his relationship with Chetna different.

By profession, Nishank is a director. He is used to calling the shots and be behind the lens. But with Temptation Island, he comes in front of it. And he is quite excited about that prospect. When asked if he feels any anxiety in making the transition from behind to front of the lens, he answered in the negative.

He said, “I don’t feel the anxiety because my personal background is related to this field. Arjun Bijlani is my brother-in-law, Deepti Bhatnagar is my maasi, even my father has been a producer and I am a director. Even Bhushan Kumar sir called me to tell me how much he liked my video. As a director, I forget everything other than my work on set. But I am excited to come in front of camera as I will be known after this. I will become a known director. It’s a good feeling.”

The director clearly states that while he knows both he and Chetna are going inside the show, he doesn’t know what is going to happen with them. He agrees that their relationship might be tested on the show, but he isn’t scared of that.

He isnisted, “I am ready because our bond, our relationship is very strong. She has been my friend for 11 years, now we are dating since 3 years. Our relationship is very strong because she likes to stay in front of the camera while I like to stay behind it. So this camera between us has bound us so strongly, that nothing can break that. We both are fascinated by the camera. Whatever happens inside, we are ready to face it. I am confident that a girl whom I took 11 years to make mine, no one can take her away in 45 days.” Temptation island starts streaming on Jio Cinema from November 3.
