Fahmaan Khan and Sumbul Touqeer starrer show Imlie was popular among the masses. They played the role of Aryan and Imlie in the show. Fans were in awe of their on-screen chemistry. But, the two shared a great rapport off-screen as well. Their camaraderie gave rise to trending hashtags like #AryLie and #SuMaan on social media platforms. The instance was quite evident during the time Fahmaan entered Bigg Boss 16 to support Sumbul. Soon, this turned bitter between them as Sumbul’s father was miffed by Fahmaan for not supporting her when she was inside Bigg Boss house. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, the Dharam Patni actor spilled beans about their equation.
Fahmaan Khan on his equation with Sumbul Touqeer
The actor had earlier interacted with Bollywood Bubble and spilled beans about what went wrong with Sumbul. During the podcast, we asked him about his equation with Sumbul now. To which, the Imlie actor said, “Humare beech me kabhi koi problem tha hi nahi (There were no issues between me and Sumbul). Her father Touqeer sahab had but let’s not get there. But the thing that changed after that is that people understood my side and that’s what I wanted eventually.”

He further shared why he chose to maintain silence earlier. “Mai bohot din tak chup tha aur uska ye matlab tha ki mujhe ye media ke andar ya public me nahi lana tha. But mujhe bahut galiyan pad rahi thi (I was quiet about the incident for a long time as I didn’t want to get it in the media and eyes of the public. But everyone was abusing me unnecessarily). That’s why I came forward and spoke about it. That helped in my favor in a certain way. I think it helped to subtly end that parade. There was a huge parade of things and it just kept coming so that thing just kept it quiet. Now everything is fine.”
