Gulshan Devaiah on divorce with Kallirroi Tziafeta

During the interview, Gulshan spilled beans about his equation with his ex-wife Kallirroi. He shared that the two continue to remain friends. Talking about whether his outlook towards love has changed, the actor shared, “If your opinion is changing in a positive way, then that is good. Changes should be embraced because a lot of growth happens due to it. Such adversities sometimes teach you a lot more than the good times. You are even surprised to discover a lot of strength in you. We suffer endlessly, unnecessarily in our imaginations. It gave both of us time to look at that adversity and convert that into something really positive.”

The actor further opened up about his equation with Kallirroi. He said, “We are really good friends and root for each other. And we comfort each other, support each other, and talk a lot on a daily basis. We are parents of cats. I keep saying this as we say save the tree by cutting off a rotten branch. So our divorce was that. We had to cut off something to save the tree. I don’t hesitate to talk about it without getting into the gory details because I know so many people in my life whose divorces have been terrible. They don’t even talk to their exes anymore. I am like, it doesn’t have to always be like that. You can move on and find closure by yourself. If there are good things between two people, you can still help them survive. Once it survives you can even thrive like in the case of me and Kallirroi.
