13 years of togetherness—one special memory that you will remember forever with Debina Bonnerjee?

Every moment with Debina is special, but one that stands out is when we secretly got married back in the day, even before our grand wedding. It was just about us, our love, and the promise we made to each other. That day set the foundation for the beautiful journey we’ve had together.

What is the secret to keeping the spark alive in your marriage after so many years? What advice would you give to couples?

The key is to grow together, respect each other’s space, and never stop expressing love. Small gestures, surprises, and just being there for each other make a big difference. My advice to couples is to always communicate openly and support each other’s dreams. Marriage is a partnership, not a competition.

What has been the biggest challenge in your marriage, and how did you overcome it together?

Every relationship has challenges, and for us, it was balancing work and personal life, especially with our demanding schedules. We overcame it by making sure we always made time for each other, no matter how busy we were. Understanding and patience are crucial in overcoming any hurdle.

How much has your love life changed since having kids?

Having our daughters has made our love even deeper. Of course, things have changed—our time is now divided, and our priorities have shifted—but seeing Debina as a mother has made me love and respect her even more. We cherish the little moments together as a family, and that has brought a new kind of joy to our relationship.

A lot has changed since your Ramayan days—how do you balance your personal and professional life now?

Back then, we were just starting our journey, and now, we have so many responsibilities. But we have learned to balance it by setting boundaries—when we are at work, we give our 100%, and when we are with family, we disconnect from everything else. Quality time is more important than the quantity of time.

Lastly, how are you both celebrating this special milestone? What special did you guys do for Valentine’s since it’s a day prior to your anniversary?

This year, we wanted to keep it intimate. Valentine’s Day was all about cherishing each other—just a quiet, romantic time together. For our anniversary, we planned a small celebration with our daughters, because they are the biggest blessing of our love story. It’s all about gratitude and celebrating the journey we’ve had so far.
