EXCLUSIVE: Hina Khan on Shaheer Sheikh: ‘He always gives me respect and puts me on a pedestal’

Hina Khan and Shaheer Sheikh are one of the most loved onscreen couples in the industry. They recently featured in the music video of the song Barsaat Aa Gayi. Fans loved their chemistry in the same. Earlier, we have seen them together in the music videos for the songs Baarish Ban Jana and Runjun Barsaatein Aayi Hai. There is no denying that Hina and Shaheer share a good chemistry. Not just onscreen, but they also share a good bond offscreen.

In a recent exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Hina and Shaheer got candid about their friendship. During the conversation, Hina showered Shaheer with praises.

The actress said, “He really gives me a lot of respect. I have to give it to him. Whenever we talk about work or anything, he always keeps me above him which is a very good thing as a person.”

The actress added, “He has always been like that. Kahi bhi kuch bhi ho whenever we are working together he has always kept me a pedestal higher. It is very sweet of him. It tells a lot about that person’s generosity and how kind that person is and how humble that person is. So yes, he’s got some humility.”

In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Hina Khan spilled the beans on her friendship with Shaheer Sheikh.

During the candid conversation, Hina and Shaheer also revealed that they bonded over Kashmiri tea. Recalling an incident, Hina said, “We vibed over nunchai which is very popular in Kashmir. Toh namkeen chai mere pass thi aur ye bhi pi raha tha aur mein bhi pi rahi thi (So, I had the team and he was drinking it and even I was). So, we kind of connected on this Kashmiri connect we have. That was an instant click.”

Shaheer went on to add that their first encounter was at an award show. It was the first time they spoke to each other but only for a ‘few seconds’. “After eight years, we met again,” revealed Shaheer. Since then, they have been really good friends.

During the conversation, Hina and Shaheer also shared that they would love to work with each other again. And well, we can’t wait to see them in more projects together.
