Sonnalli Seygall feels Pyaar Ka Punchnama didn’t work for the girls
Sonnalli Seygall was asked if she got projects after doing Pyaar Ka Punchnama, to which she said, “When I started shooting for the film it was not even a hit film. But I was happy that I got into a film. And I was like my career is taking off, and I love that. The movie did super well, we were excited as it was our first film, and we were all very excited. But Pyaar Ka Punchnama didn’t get any of us to work, especially the girls I would say. I didn’t have any work till I did Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2. And that was when I felt like I was mature up, so I was like it doesn’t work like this so how do we go about it? And I gave in my all in pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, and that’s when things started rolling.”
Sonnalli did have projects between Pyaar Ka Punchnama 1 and 2 and didn’t have to be stressed in this phase. She said, ” For me, no this phase wasn’t difficult or stressful, because I was modelling. So I was a successful model before and after signing the film. It was never like okay now that I am doing a film I say bye-bye to the modelling world, I was still working and I did a couple of ads. Honestly, even if I would have tough days or months, I don’t remember now but I am very good at saving and managing my expenses. Fortunately, you know I have never had that issue maybe with a lesser income I could sustain my life, build it up and all.”
Sonnalli Seygall recalls being mentally affected
Adding to this, ” Financially I have not stressed a lot, mentally also now when I think of it. I did go through a lot, which you didn’t want to accept then. Because you feel like okay you tried enough, then you got distracted by things that weren’t something that you did or should have done. And I know I am a big crier, I would have cried surely. However, now I feel those experiences have always helped me grow. I know it sounds like cringe but this has made me a strong person like I am today.”
