Is Bigg Boss real or scripted? Find out!
Over the years, Bigg Boss viewers have always wondered whether the reality show is scripted or not. And now, finally, the voice of Bigg Boss has revealed the truth. Vijay said, “As I said it’s an International format. International format kya hai ki ye ek reality show hai jaha par human behaviour ko showcase kiya jaa raha hai. Wahi ethos aapko follow karne hai yaha par. Toh the last time I’m telling people isme koi script nahi ho sakti hai. Yeh show ka format hi aisa hai ki isme koi script ho hi nahi sakti hai. (It’s an International format. It’s a reality show where human behaviour is being showcased. You have to follow the same ethos here. So, this is the last time I’m telling people that script cannot be involved in this. The format of this show is such that there cannot be any script in it).”
Vijay added that the format of the show is so strong that it doesn’t need a script. He called it a ‘beautiful study in human behaviour.’

He continued, “What if the masks that we keep are to come off? Simple si cheez hai. Woh masks kaise aate hai bahar? Stress mein aate hai. Jab stress mein hota hai aadmi toh uska natural self sabse zyada pehle bahar aata hai. Jaise ki jab mujhe gussa aata hai toh meri yeh bhasha badal jaati hai. Mein typical Kanpur ka ho jaata hu fir (laughs) Meri bhasha mein joh refinement hai woh sab chala jaata hai. Toh yehi show ka format hai. It cannot be scripted. (It’s a simple thing. How do those masks come out? When someone is stressed. And when a person is stressed his natural self comes out first. When I get angry my language changes. I become a typical Kanpurite and then whatever refinement there is in my language goes away. So, this is the formot of the show. It cannot ne scripted).”
He went on to add, “I would like to add one more thing about people who talk a lot saying ‘ye deserving winner nahi tha, yeh kaise jeet gaya’. This is not a talent show jaha aapko tasks karne ke points mil rahe hai. Yeh seedhe seedhe public ko joh pasand ayega woh jeetega. (This is not a talent show where you do some tasks and get points. Whoever public likes, they will win).” Earlier when Sidharth Shukla, Rubina Dilaik, and MC Stan won the reality show, it was said that their win was scripted.
During the conversation, Vijay also spoke about his acting stints with Sushmita Sen in Taali, and Manoj Bajpayee in The Family Man, and Mirzapur 2. He also shared an update about his upcoming film Chhava with Vicky Kaushal.
