EXCLUSIVE: Is Pathaan Shah Rukh Khan having a cameo in Alia Bhatt, Sharvari Wagh’s Alpha? Munjya actress spills the beans

Sharvari Wagh is currently basking in the success of Munjya as it earned over 100 crore at box office. She later received praise for her stint in Mahraj. Further, she is gearing up for actioners Alpha and Vedaa. In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, Sharvari Wagh expresses excitement for being a part of YRF spy Universe Alpha. Sharvari also expresses her adulation for Shah Rukh Khan and reveals if they will have a crossover in the spy universe.

Sharvari Wagh on working with Alia Bhatt in Alpha

Talking about Alpha and her experience of working on film, Sharvari says, “The spy film will of course is an incredible film with a lot of cool action. And I think that both action sequences are going to be very different from each other. So for me, it’s like going on set completely with a clean slate so that I get to learn this new kind of action from the scratch. This film in particular is like breaking glass ceilings. And I think girls and women are taking the front seat, the driving seat. That’s absolutely what our society stands for today. So I think that it’s not a better time than now to come up with a film like this. It’s important also for us to empower a certain generation who probably looks up to actors. It is definitely exciting to be a part of such a project.“

Heaping praise on Alia Bhatt, she says, “She is my favorite actor as she is of the whole country. But it’s going to be an absolute privilege to be able to perform with her. I just can’t think about how many things I’m going to get to learn, you know, from someone like Alia purely just as an actor.“

The actress also expressed how much she adores Shah Rukh Khan. Hinting at the possibility crossover of them in a spy universe film, she says, “I’m at the loss of words. I had read an article and there were like a lot of names of the spy universe. And then there was my name. I saw my name alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt and Deepika Padukone. And I don’t think that in my wildest dreams, I thought that so early on in my career, I’d be even a part of purely just like a sentence. At the end of the day, for me it’s a huge deal. I have stood outside Mannat on Shah Rukh Sir’s 50th birthday to try and get a glimpse of him coming out of his balcony. So yeah, it will a dream come true to be in the same room.”
