He further added, “We constantly keep thinking about it. It’s never off the cards what we should do about it. So, there’s always an attempt. And I really hope that we can come up with a really good story to be able to make Queen 2. But the thing is it is so precious to me and more than me, so precious to everybody who’s loved the film that we cannot disappoint them.”
On Goodbye failure
Talking about Rashmika Mandanna and Amitabh Bachchan starrer Goodbye not performing at the box office, the director shared he was effected by it. He said, “Of course it does because you want more and more people to watch your film. Goodbye also came in that time of, you know, the pandemic just getting over, people still not fully going to the theatre. So yeah, when I felt bad that not so many people went to the theatre, but eventually when it came on the OTT and it was trending at number one, at least we felt good. But that is indirectly you wanting your film to do well at the Box Office. So, I don’t think there’s any replacement to the Box Office number. You want more and more people to go and watch your film anyhow.”
After Ganapath, Vikas Bahl is working on Vash remake which stars Ajay Devgn and the film is all set to release in March 2024.
