Supriya Pathak starrer Khichdi was one of the popular TV shows back then and seeing the popularity, the makers decided to turn it into a movie. The Khichdi movie was very well received by people as it hit them with nostalgia. Now, they have brought another new movie Khichdi 2: Mission Paanthukistan and it has the same charm. As the movie was released after 13 years, some fans wonder if there will be a third part as well. Speaking about the same, Director Aatish Kapadia and Jamnadas Majethia (JD) gave us a major hint saying that they have an idea but…

Is Khichdi 3 on the cards?

When asked if there would be a third part of Khichdi? Director Aatish Kapadia said, “Isski zimedari hamare darshakon pe hai ki jab Khichdi 2 aaye, toh hamare darshak hume itna saara pyaar de aur uss pyaar se hum overwhelmed hoke ki hamara farz bann jaye ki hum unhe Khichdi 3 de.“

JD said, “Khichdi 3 tab bann sakti hai jab aapka pyaar hai but we have to be very practical that cinema has to grow. The world is growing and hum unke saath connect kar paaye wo hamare liye bohot important hai. Hum hamara shauq pura karne ke liye ek hadd tak banayege but jo 21 saal se jo rishta banaye rakha hai, to ye humko lage ki ha hum itne saal ke baad ye rishta correct nibhaya hai. Aap logon ne jo pyaar aur respect diya hai wo humko itna responsible banata hai.”

“Agar ye sahi connect karta hai aur aap logon ko sach mein maza aaraha hai, then we promise that you will not wait for long. Because we already have an idea in mind. We have Khichdi 3 in mind. Hum toh Khichdi 3 ka teaser bhi lagane wale the bt hum dono ne socha nahi“. Adding that it is out of the world.
