EXCLUSIVE: If I did what she did with me, I’d be sent to jail for harassment: Jad Hadid on Manisha Rani’s flirty behaviour

India’s highly-discussed show, Bigg Boss OTT 2, recently witnessed a double eviction, resulting in the eviction of Jad Hadid and Avinash Sachdev. Former contestant Jad Hadid had been in the spotlight of Bigg Boss OTT 2 ever since his entry. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Jad Hadid openly discussed his feelings concerning the continuous flirtatious behaviour displayed by Manisha Rani towards him.

Jad Hadid garnered considerable attention from the audience for his striking appearance and consistent appeal, making him a constant heartthrob. However, there existed a segment of the audience that directed significant criticism towards him due to his interactions with female contestants within the house.

Jad Hadid opens up on feeling harassed by Manisha Rani

During the conversation, we highlighted how people think that it’s okay for a woman to flirt openly with a man but, when a man does the same it’s considered harassing. Talking about how he felt when Manisha Rani was constantly flirting with him. He shared, “I tried my best to be a gentleman which I am. Because normally I don’t reject people in a negative way. If I have something to reject you I still find a way to make it easy and understand. If you don’t understand I will still try and try but I will never do anything to harm you or hurt you. So, to the public eyes if I do that you’re right ‘I’m harassing.’ I should be sent to jail and questioned. But if a girl does it, it’s cute. It’s nice.”

He added how confused he is and said, “They wonder why is he running from her. That’s so sad. Honestly, I don’t understand and crack this matrix. Thanks for highlighting this.”

Jad further added that whatever Manisha does is unintentional, he said, “This doesn’t mean that Manisha is a bad person. She is not. Manisha is cute, very genuine person. She does it repetitively without any intentions because that’s what she is used to.”

“But, you’re right that if a man does it, this guy is gone. Imagine if I hug someone, they call me a flirt. They call me stuff that I didn’t even like but that’s ok. But, followed by the same thing every day, I have to shut up and say nothing,” he concluded.

For the unversed, Manisha Rani was seen flirting with the Dubai-based model from the start of this season. On the other hand, Jad made headlines after he had a long kiss with ex-contestant Akanksha Puri during a task.

Talking about Bigg Boss OTT 2, the finalists include Abhishek Malhan, Bebika Durve, Pooja Bhatt, Manisha Rani, Elvish Yadav, and Jiya Shankar. These individuals are now in the run for the Bigg Boss OTT 2 trophy. The Salman Khan-hosted reality show will soon have its finale on 14 August 2023.
