EXCLUSIVE: Janhvi Kapoor feels Mr and Mrs Mahi created Bawaal in her life: It was physically demanding

Actor Janhvi Kapoor is gearing up for the release of Bawaal with Varun Dhawan. Apart from this movie, she is set to impress the audience with her different avatar in Mr and Mrs Mahi. The movie will have Janhvi as a cricketer and she has been seen prepping for her role in the fields. However, in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Janhvi Kapoor revealed that the shoot of Mr and Mrs Mahi created Bawaal in her life.

When asked about the bawaal thing she has done in life. Speaking to us, the Dhadak actor revealed that she suffered injuries and some things kept getting cancelled. Due to this, the movie caused a ruckus in her life.

Janhvi said, “I shot Mr and Mrs Mahi. I think doing that caused quite a bawaal in my life because of my injuries and various other reasons. And it went on for a while and so things kept getting planned and then cancelled and moved around. So, it was changing a lot of things in my life because it was a very intense film to shoot and it was physically demanding. So, me and Sharan who are very close we’d also get into fights and it was just a very hectic time, I think.”

Mr and Mrs Mahi details

Directed by Sharan Sharma, Mr and Mrs Mahi stars Janhvi and RajKummar Rao in the lead roles. The movie is reportedly based on the life story of the cricketer and former team India Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. In May, the Mili actor wrapped her shoot for the film and penned a long note on Instagram.

A part of the note read, “2 years since I first picked up my bat. And now we’ve finally wrapped #MrandMrsMahi. I thought I’d wake up today feeling lighter and relieved because we all gave more to this film than we thought was even possible. But I feel kind of empty. Like a blank canvas. I feel like we’ve been to war and back, and I saw so many heroes in action.”

Whereas Bawaal, also starring Varun Dhawan is scheduled to release on July 21. The movie is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and will be streaming on Amazon Prime.
