Jennifer Mistry is making some shocking revelations from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah in our exclusive interview. The actress has been part of the show for 15 years and called it quits after claiming sexual harassment. She accused the producer Asit Modi of sexual and mental harassment. However, to get to know more about her story, Bollywood Bubble got in touch with Jennifer, making explosive revelations. She also revealed how the situation was after co-star Disha Vakani left TMKOC.
Jennifer reveals the happenings after Disha left
Disha Vakani played the famous role of Daya Ben in TMKOC. The actress left the TV show after she conceived and has not returned indefinitely. Jennifer revealed that when she made a come-back after pregnancy, the situation changed. She said, “Disha ke jaane ke baad tab toh mujhe joh lagta hai mahol kaafi kharaab hogaya tha. I came and Disha left after a year. 2016 and 2017 wo mai gayi (After Disha left the show it turned all bad. I made a comeback to the show and Disha left after a year. I came in 2016 and Disha left in 2017).”

Jennifer also revealed the changes she felt on the sets when she made a comeback on the show. She said, “When I came back I saw that there was no reading. I have seen so many times that the men at work are having a reading in the gents’ room. Whenever we pointed out this situation, we were given the reason that we females take time to get ready.” Talking about the people’s mindset, Jennifer said, “There’s a different world there, the whole world is on one side and TMKOC is on the other. They all are frogs in a pond with the same mindsets. They don’t realize what’s happening outside.”
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah holds the Guinness World Record for the longest-running Indian daily sitcom by episode count. Nevertheless, Jennifer continued to reveal some inside deets. She disclosed how men were given preference on set and women were treated badly.
