EXCLUSIVE: Don’t consider Abhishek a friend anymore: Jiya Shankar breaks silence on her fallout with Fukra Insaan

Actor Jiya Shankar and YouTuber Abhishek Malhan have grabbed a lot of attention due to their bond in the Bigg Boss OTT 2 house. People started speculating if there was something brewing between them. Fans even started shipping them as AbhiYa and started creating edited videos for the two. In fact, after they got out of the house, Jiya and Abhishek both said good things about each other. Jiya even admitted having feelings for Fukra Insaan but their friendship turned sour when the latter made a statement on TV actors. The statement became the reason behind Jiya and Abhishek’s fallout.

Speaking about the same, Jiya broke her silence on the fallout and revealed that she has no friends from the house and trusts no one. When asked if there are any friends who she can trust from the house. Jiya exclusively told Bollywood Bubble, “At the moment, I have my people and I will always trust them. If it’s from the house then I don’t think I have anybody that I trust from the house.”

When asked what went wrong and does it affect her, the Kaatelal and Sons actor said, “Of course, it does because I’m that kind of a person. If I don’t like somebody, it’s very upfront, I don’t care who you are, if I don’t like you, I don’t like you and I expect the same. If you don’t like me, just say that and stay away from me. And if I like you, I will say to the world that I like you.”

Jiya continued, “For me, it is very easy to say that I like you or I love you which means I like you as a person. I don’t like talking shit about people. If I’m bothered by something, I’ll say it and that’s it. The end. I would not talk about this person again. I wear my heart on my sleeves and I get hurt a zillion times. But that will never stop me from doing it again and again. I feel there are people out there who deserve love. If they don’t know how to value it, then it is their loss and not mine.“

For the unversed, in an interview with Zoom, Abhishek stated, “YouTube me itni power hai. Liertally, jab hum bahar aaye toh dekha ki TV actors YouTubers ban gaye.” Then Jiya gave it back to him by tweeting, “These “TV ACTORS” some people make it sound like it’s an insult! We’re ACTORS. Period. We shall work in every single platform if gotten the opportunity and because we gotta pay our own bills doing what we LOVE to do. These actors audition every single day for different shows, ads, web, prints, films and face rejections like its a part of the process. Wishing hoping praying “ONE DAY”. I’ll be on that silver screen/ I’ll be the lead face of a TV show, I’ll have my billboards all over the country.“

Abhishek and Jiya have worked together in a romantic song Judaiyaan after they left the house.
