Karan Veer Mehra not only won Bigg Boss 18 but also a lot of hearts and appreciation. Days after victory, he sat down for an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble. The actor shared his rapport with the former co-contestant of BB 18 Vivian Dsena. Karan Veer Mehra lifted the trophy defeating Vivian Dsena. Both the contestants were much loved and hailed by their fans outside the house which created a major buzz as well.

Karan Veer Mehra on his connection with Vivian Dsena

Speaking on his bond with Vivian Dsena, Karan shared, “I was pretty clear that we’ve known each other for 11-12 years, but I asked during the task, ‘In friendship, don’t you know something about each other? Haven’t you ever visited each other’s homes?’ There’s a difference between being colleagues and being best friends. You can’t just portray someone as your closest friend. Friendship should have shown in some way. If we’ve never sat together, talked, or shared anything meaningful, how can it be called friendship?”

Further talking about the same, Karan Veer Mehra said, “That said, we were mature enough not to pick fights over silly things. Even if I ended up with his coffee during a task, I gave it back. And if it was the other way around, he would share something he made with me. We never fought over food or small things. But when it came to respecting Shilpa or being friends with her, we were very different people. I felt we were on two different wavelengths. Fundamentally, we were like two parallels, different but coexisting.”

Karan Veer also apologises to Vivian Dsena

Mehra also shared why he couldn’t create a bond with Vivian inside the house. Karan stated, “I was very open about my feelings, and if he got hurt by what I said, I feel sorry for that. But that’s all it was. After spending time together, you naturally become friends. I understand the emotional side of his question, and it touched me. It helped me grow because maybe he had shared these feelings with others before, but it was the first time I heard it, someone missing their family. Guys don’t usually express emotions like that. I even told Avinash once when he gave me a gift—I didn’t know how to respond. Just a simple ‘Thank you’ felt awkward. But his words made me think, ‘Yeah, I miss my family too’. If I had expressed that, maybe our friendship would have reached another level.”

Continuing the BB 18 winner said, “But after everything, with tasks and other things, it ended, and we all moved on. Now it’s time to be big about it, celebrate together, and stay connected.”
