Kriti Sanon supports actors having entourages
When asked about the entourage culture prevalent in Bollywood actor-producer Kriti Sanon said, “I think my vision is still the same, to be honest, because I’ve also been an actor. So I also know that everything plays a part when you talk about your hair, makeup, and costume. I think hair, makeup, and costume make the character to a large extent. And credit has to be given there as well. Having said that, there are a lot of unnecessary entourages which sometimes certain actors might get, which I don’t. I think that we have to be mindful of it. When I’ve done an action film, it is important for the character and for the film for me to have a trainer or a nutritionist.”
She added, “For example, I had to gain 15 kilos for Mimi. I had a nutritionist given by the production. You know there is production cost. But if I’m doing it for my luxury and well-being, and because I want to do it, and it’s not as necessary for the film, then that should not be on the production. So these basics I understand, and I agree with them. Like some unnecessary stupid cost should not be coming on the production, and you got to be mindful.”
