EXCLUSIVE: Kritika Kamra wants to take a road trip with Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif, and the reason is to help Farhan Akhtar

Kritika Kamra has had quite an inspiring journey in showbiz. Having started on TV, the actress worked on all the 3 mediums- TV, films and OTT. Not just the mediums, but she also worked with the big players all across those avenues. And one of them is Farhan Akhtar, with whom she did Bambai Meri Jaan last year. As we played a fun Rapid Fire with Kritika, the actress made a wish that is also in Farhan’s benefit.

Kritika Kamra wants to take a road trip with Jee Le Zaraa cast

When asked to name 2 actresses from Bollywood that she would like to go with on a road trip, Kritika gave a quippy answer. She said, “I will take the cast of Jee Le Zaraa so that it gets made. I really want to watch it.” The actress further said that during the promotions of Bambai Meri Jaan, everyone was asking Farhan about the film. So, she just wants to help him out. She added, “Everybody has been asking. Farhan and we all were promoting Bambai Meri Jaan and everybody keeps asking about Jee Le Zaraa. So let’s take them on a trip and then maybe (it gets made). I’ll just be like somebody on the set, just slyly watching.”

Jee Le Zaraa was announced by Farhan during Covid in 2021 with the filmmaker pulling a casting coup. Farhan brought on board Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif. With the film, he also announced his directorial return. However, due to certain reasons, the film kept getting pushed.

There were several reports last year that Jee le Zaraa has been shelved. There were also reports of cast changes. However, both Farhan and Zoya Akhtar came out and said that the film will be made and with the original cast members only. There hasn’t been any development on the film in a long time and Farhan will be directing Don 3 with Ranveer Singh first. But just like Kritika, here’s wishing for the film to be made soon.
