Alking about his friends’ and audience’s reactions to his performance, the actor shares, “I have been getting some great reviews and responses. We further asked him about his admiration for John Abraham and how was it sharing screen space with him. He shares, “Working with John sir and Sharvari was a great experience. I couldn’t have asked for better co-actors in my first film. I am big John Abraham fan and I had his posters in my room growing up, so working with him in my debut film is like a dream come true. He is the sweetest on set. We all know him as this superstar, but he is so grounded and considerate towards everyone. It didn’t feel like I am meeting this superstar for the first time. He treated me with the respect of a co-actor and made me feel so comfortable. We used to talk about fitness, family and films. He is a really great guy.”
The actor also recalls getting a call from John and says, “I got a call from an unknown number and it was John sir on the other side. He said he wanted to personally call me to tell how good of a job I had done in the film. He said that it’s my film and I would be getting a lot of calls post the release. We chatted for about five minutes and those minutes felt so surreal. I was just saying thank you throughout.”
Kshitij on future plans
When asked about fear of getting typecast, the actor says, “I have started my Bollywood journey with a villainous character, and in future too, I am not apprehensive of playing any character. As an actor, you want to portray every colour, and every emotion, otherwise it gets monotonous and I don’t like monotony. I want to explore every aspect of life.”
Prodded if he has signed anything, Kshitij avers, “There are a couple of projects in the pipeline that I am considering, one is a web show and another is a film. They are at a very initial stage currently, so I can’t disclose much about it.”
