In an exclusive chat with the Bollywood Bubble, Elvish Yadav opened up about his first job and what it taught him. Read on to know what it is and the advice he has for all his fans.
Elvish Yadav on how his first job taught patience
During the exclusive chat, Elvish Yadav got candid about how fame and success have changed social media personalities over the years. Sharing a piece of advice he feels will help the audience understand their journey, the BB OTT 2 winner said, “I would want to say that patience is very much needed in life. I mean I didn’t have any patience even today morning which led to a lot of loss. I cannot even focus on the interview right now because of this. Whoever comes to me for any advice I would always recommend them to be patient in life. Time fixes everything, if you try to hurry in life you may suffer losses post this.”
Talking about his journey as a Youtuber, Yadav shares, “I started my journey in 2016, and a lot of people don’t know that I had a partner back then. We started the channel together, however we didn’t get many viewers in the first year. He decided to leave, the YouTube payment then was just 2 dollars for the creator studio. Dollar back then was at 60, he was like what can you do with 120 rupees? After he left I patiently tried to take things forward. I don’t know how back then I kept so much patience, but I cannot keep patience as of today. So you need to keep a lot of patience in life to achieve something.”
Elvish Yadav on the tolerance level of the audience
During the same conversation, Elvish spoke about how content may not resonate with all kinds of audiences. He said, “This has been my observation, the tolerance level of people has reduced significantly. They feel bad about even the smallest of matters. It is like when we live in this world of social media, people will praise you and support you when you do something great. If you go against the crowd, you face anti-statements. So if you see, nowadays these things have increased a lot, I don’t know why but people have no tolerance level.”
He added, “If I have to take an example, there are a lot of short videos where I might have spoken sarcastically about something but people have mistaken and misinterpreted it. Now there are new terms like dark jokes and dark comedy, so it is cool for some people but not for others. So I feel we need to figure out what kind of an audience can tolerate what kind of content.”
