EXCLUSIVE: Manasvi Mamgai SLAMS Samarth Jurel for objectifying her for doing a bold scene: Woh bol raha tha maine rewind kar karke dekha

Manasvi Mamgai entered as a wildcard contestant in Bigg Boss 17 last week. However, her journey was short. She was recently evicted from the Salman Khan-hosted show. After eviction, Manasvi joined Bollywood Bubble for a candid conversation and opened up about her Bigg Boss journey, Samarth Jurel’s derogatory comment, Isha Malviya’s physical violence claim and a lot more.

Manasvi Mamgai reacts to Samarth Jurel’s derogatory remark

In one of the episodes, Samarth had teased her about a bold scene she had performed in one of her films. During the nominations, Manasvi Mamgai pointed out Samarth Jurel as her first nominee because she believed he continuously objectified her and attempted to depict her derogatorily.

When asked about it, she said, “Initially, I let him go because he’s 20 or something. He’s very young. So, I was like theek hai yaar Mazak ke tareeke se bola hoga. Utna mein seriously nahi leti (I was like he must be joking. I don’t take things seriously). He acts very cute an all of that. So, I was like ok he said it once, I let it go and then he said it the second time, I let it go. Third time woh mere pass aake bol raha hai ki maine aapka scene rewind kar kar ke dekha, that is time mein actually bhadki thi. So, woh scene shayad dikha nahi. Humari fight hui thi. And uss fight ke baad nominations hua tha. (Third time when he came up to me and he’s telling that I saw the scene again and again. I got angry. The scene was not shown and after that the nominations took place).”

She added, “So, first time, second time I didn’t call him out because aise hi mazak mein bol raha hoga, immature hai karke. Uske baad mujhe hai he’s actually objectifying and actually disrespecting me. Now, after that to make himself look right, he started pointing fingers at me for little things. Matlab mein dal bana rahi hu, tum kha rahe ho aur uske baad buraayi bhi kar rahe ho. (I am making dal and you’re having it too but you’re also saying bad things about it) So, it was like that.”

When asked why no one supported her especially women, Manasvi said, “People are very afraid to stand up against people who have big fan following or are very powerful.” Furthermore, she mentioned that no one wants to take panga with fellow contestants Munawar Faruqui and Anurag Dobhal.
