EXCLUSIVE: Mohit Raina reveals wife Aditi Sharma was 3 months pregnant when their divorce rumours started: Didn’t know how to deal with it

Actor Mohit Raina rose to fame with his stint in Devon Ke Dev Mahadev. The actor recently impressed everyone with his stint as Doctor Kaushik in Mumbai Diaries 2. Mohit got married to ladylove Aditi Sharma in a close-knit ceremony in December 2021. A year later, rumours were rife that Mohit and Aditi were heading for divorce after the actor had removed pictures of his wife from his social media account. Days later, he rubbished such speculations calling them baseless. In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, Mohit Raina shared how taxing it was dealing with divorce rumours as his wife was 3 months pregnant.

The Mahadev actor shared how taxing it was to deal with such rumours as his wife was 3 months pregnant. He shared, “This time I was lucky because my wife was 3 months pregnant when that news came out. Fortunately, I was not in the network, I had taken her to Himachal, where there was no network. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have really known how to deal with it because I wouldn’t have been able to explain her as she doesn’t come from the fraternity. I wouldn’t have been able to explain to her parents why something like this had happened. What she was expecting because of that, it was my first time also and I was by myself so I didn’t know how to deal with it also.”

He further added, “I was lucky that there was no network so we had less information at that point of time. But not every time you can be lucky and not be in network. You have to know how to just take it as a pinch of salt and move on.  Also, you should have a partner who understands that you’re in this business and you know these are things that one will have to face. But yeah that time was quite taxing on us.”

Mohit Raina reveals spending 8-months with his wife and newborn

The actor became the parent to a baby girl in March this year. When we asked the actor whether he misses spending time with his newborn, he told, “I always listen to my heart. So, I took 8-month break to spend time with my wife and newborn baby. Since I didn’t want to miss those opportunities and be by her side, I did spend a good amount of eight months with both of them and then I decided to resume work. So, I am not feeling guilty. Yes, I do miss them, but thankfully nowadays you have phones and everything so you kind of get to see them.”
