EXCLUSIVE: Monika Bhadoriya recalls TMKOC makers delaying her payment: I fought for one year

Producer Asit Kumarr Modi’s show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the longest-running TV shows. Taarak Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been grabbing attention for all the wrong reasons. It all started after Jennifer Mistry, known for playing the role of Mrs Roshan Singh Sodhi, accused producer Asit, project head Sohail Ramani and executive producer Jatin Bajaj of sexual harassment. After Jennifer, Monika Bhadoriya aka Bawri revealed details about how she was treated on TMKOC sets.

Now, Monika sat down for an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble and revealed that her payment was delayed for more than a year.

Here’s what Monika revealed about TMKOC makers

The actress told us, “After my mother’s death, I went into depression. It took two years to overcome from it. Uske baad mujhe laga ki mein bolungi par mere paise inhone rokh liye the. So, I was fighting for my dues. Mein soch rahi thi agar mein jaungi toh wapas inhone problem create kardiye toh usse pehle mein apne jitne bhi remaining amount hai woh clear karwati hu unse fir then I will talk to media.”She further went on to reveal that the makers made her sign a bond stating that she will not go to the media and only then they will clear her payment. She signed the papers but her payment was again delayed by the makers.

She further revealed that Sohail Ramani used to behave rudely with her. Monika revealed, “Main wapas se phone karti rahi kahi bar but unhone nahi clear kia. Maine Sohail ko phone kia aur woh phone nahi uthate the, ulta seedha jawab dete the messages par (I kept calling them but they did not clear my payment. I would call Sohail but he used to answer rudely)  I have all the messages as proof.”

Adding to that, she shared that after she told them about approaching CINTAA, Sohail Ramani called her and asked her to meet. However, instead of solving her issues, he started yelling at her. She recalled him saying, “‘Tum CINTAA jaugi, and humare against jaogi’. Aur maine kaha aap apna dekho.” The actress added that she made sure that the dues were cleared.

She further revealed that now the makers are calling the artists on their own and clearing their dues.
