Later, he went on to tell us that, in spite of the character leaning on the romantic side, it is not typical bollywood romance. Ghalib ji said, “Nawaz ka Babumoshai Bandookbaaz wala romantic angle thoda raw tha. Iss picture mein bhi traditional romance nahi hai. Isme bhi love at first sight wala romance nahi hai. Ye jo character hai na usko shaadi karne mein bilkul interest nahi hai aur woh kehta hai ki ek aur lady ko hum apne ghar mein leke nahi ayenge.”
Jogira-sara-ra-ra
Well, the Talaash actor has always made it a point to do roles differently. He brings his style and personality into everything he does. In Jogira Sara Ra Ra also the Badlapur actor tends to do the same thing. Elaborating more on Nawaz’s character, the writer of the movie said, “Aapko isme bohot hidden romance nazar aata hai. Ye bahut different romance hai. Jab woh ladki se baat bhi karte hai tab woh normal baat nahi hoti hai. Woh kuch alag karte hai… Aisa hi kuch alag apko yaha pe bhi dekhne milega. Isme typical bollywood romance nahi hai.”
Ghalibji also compared romance in this movie with the actor’s famous romance in Gangs of Wasseypur. He said like in Gangs of Wasseypur, we see a different shade of romance, audience can expect a different shade of romance in Jogira Sara Ra ra as well.
Ghalibji on taking people’s perspective into consideration….
As the interview proceeded further Ghalib ji elaborated upon how he takes into account people’s changing perspective towards writing. He said taking people’s perspective comes with experience only. One has to know what people will appreciate. One has to look at stories from people’s perspective. In spite of that, at times, one just fails to make a mark. But, nonetheless, we have to sit and analyze what will work and what won’t.
