EXCLUSIVE: Niti Taylor reveals getting backlash for her real-life wedding and the reason is Parth Samthaan

Niti Taylor and Parth Samthaan have been one of the most loved couples on Indian television for about 9 years now. They both were very young when they came with the show Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan. But it turned out to be such a massive success that it recently returned with a 5th season. Throughout this time, the duo has amassed a huge fan base for both MaNan (their characters Manik and Nandini) as well as for PaNi (Parth and Niti).

But while the love from fans has been very amazing for the actors, it has also resulted in some awkward situations. In a recent episode of Reel Buddies with Bollywood Bubble, Niti Taylor revealed getting backlash for her wedding and the reason for it is Parth Samthaan.

When we asked Parth about the love he and Niti receive as an on screen couple, he appreciated it. But he also pointed out the flip side of it. He said, “That is sweet, but also very unfortunate. It’s not just us, it’s also about all the pairs that are doing television for the longest amount of time, some romantic shows and they (fans) tag them. They (fans) can’t see them with anyone else.”

He then insisted that even Niti must have faced the same. He told her, “I am sure you must have faced a lot of backlash for your marriage.” The actress broke into laughter as she recalled fans’ reaction to her wedding. She agreed to Parth’s statement and revealed the angry reactions she got from fans post her wedding. She shared, “‘Why didn’t I marry Parth?’ I got that a lot.”

Parth teases Niti on not getting an invite for the wedding

For the unversed, Niti Taylor got married to her now husband Parikshit Bawa in 2020. She made the news official by sharing their wedding pictures on October 6, 2020. When Niti revealed fans’ reaction to her wedding, Parth teased her for not inviting him. He quipped, “Mujhe to bura laga ki shaadi pe nahi bulaya yaar. (I felt bad that she didn’t invite me for the wedding).” Niti also gave quite a fitting answer to it. She said, “Covid wedding I had. 6 log the meri shaadi mein. Kaise bulati? (There were 6 people in my wedding. How would have I invited Parth?)”

Well, Parth and Niti might not be together in real life, but they are indeed really good friends. As cracking is their chemistry on screen, their real life camaraderie is also as exciting.
