Pankaj narrated, “Main aya na toh woh poster ek aagey gaadi lagi thi toh niche Gadar likha hua dikh nahi raha tha mujhe. Jab maine dekha mujhe laga ki Sunny Ji waha beithe hai (When I arrived, a poster was pasted on the front of a car, so I couldn’t see the Gadar written underneath it. When I looked, I saw that Sunny Ji was sitting there).”
“Itna life photo tha woh mujhe laga ki mujhe thodi der ther gaya mujhe laga yeh mujhe dekh rahe haii. Pata nahi mujhe nahi dekhna. Maine niche mundi kar liya, fir maine sarr upar kiya maine namaste sir kiya. Main chal raha hu, aur jaise hi namaste kiya do kadam agey badhkar dekha mujhe Gadar dikha niche poster (It was such a lively photograph. I thought I had paused for a while, thinking that he might be looking at me. I don’t know, I didn’t want to see. As I lowered my head and then raised it, and I greeted him with a namaste. I was walking away, and as soon as I greeted him, I took a couple of steps forward and saw Gadar written on the poster below).”
