EXCLUSIVE: Parineeti Chopra’s 90s themed wedding party had a Priyanka Chopra tribute

Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha’s big fat Punjabi wedding is all set to take place today. Ahead of the wedding, pre-wedding festivities like the chooda ceremony, followed by a haldi ceremony, and the wedding party took place on 23 September. The wedding is an intimate affair with only close friends and family members in attendance. Earlier, it was reported that Parineeti’s sister Priyanka Chopra would be a part of the wedding. However, the actress could not arrive. Sister Parineeti made a sweet gesture from her side for her beloved Mimi Didi and it will surely win your hearts.

Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha’s wedding party night was of the 90s theme. All the songs and music were from that era. But, there was an exception as Parineeti dedicated a special gesture to Mimi didi aka Priyanka Chopra as she was missing from the wedding. Priyanka Chopra’s popular song Desi Girl was played at the party night. To note, it was an exception at the 80s and 90s themed party because the song is not from that era.

The song list for the night was curated by bride-to-be Parineeti Chopra and had popular Punjabi numbers and lots of Gidda on which the families performed. Everyone danced to popular songs from the 80s and 90s. Punjabi singer Navraj Hans also performed at the party night and pictures of the same are going viral.
