Parth Samthaan is one of the most loved actors in the industry. Parth has been a part of many TV shows and is now set to enter films. He will be making his Bollywood debut with Gudhchadi which also stars Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon. The actor was earlier set to make his big Bollywood debut with another film i.e. Googly Ho Gayi. However, it never saw the light of the day. Now, in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Parth opened up about his shelved Bollywood debut movie.

The actor shared that it took him two years to overcome the devastation he felt because of the film being put down. Parth said, “A lot of people don’t know how difficult it is to make a film. For the audience it is very easy ki aap Friday-Saturday aap decide kar lete ho ki film chalegi ya nahi chalegi, but it takes equal amount of hardwork for everyone to make it.”

He continued, “So, when we were shooting for Googly Ho Gayi, it was the time of 2016 where demonitization had happened. And unfortunately, waha par producers-directors ke beech thoda issue hogaya and film take off nahi kar payi. Humne shoot kar liya, we shot something around 20% of it but somehow it didn’t work out and we had to come back from Chandigarh. But it was a devastating time for me because it was an experience. For me, I was shattered because after Yaariyaan this was the first project that I was doing. For me, it was just like a good project, then a good project, then a good project. I never expected that something like this, low point would hit me. So yes, it was an experience for me. It was then I realised that life will always be a roller-coaster ride.”
Furthermore, Parth went on to add that it took him two years to get over the sadness and disappointment. He also mentioned that with time and experiences he realised why certain things didn’t happen at that time.
Well, it’s been 7 years and things are going well. Parth is now all set to make his Bollywood debut with Gudhchadi. The actor has already wrapped up Gudhchadi shoot.
