EXCLUSIVE: Pooja Hegde recalls first reaction when Salman Khan starrer Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan was offered to her

Actor Pooja Hegde is currently busy with the promotions of her upcoming movie, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, co-starring Salman Khan. Directed by Farhad Samjhi, the makers of the movie released the trailer, a few days ago. The trailer received much love from the audience. And, we bet, the chemistry between Pooja Hegde and Salman Khan was too hard to miss.

Pooja Hegde revisits when Salman Khan offered her Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan

The Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan actress recalled her first reaction when she was offered the role of a Telugu girl in the movie. In an exclusive chat with us, Pooja opened up about how Salman Khan had mentioned to her that they would work together, someday. She shared how excited she was for the part she was set to play.

Recalling her first reaction, Pooja Hegde told Bollywood Bubble, “I was very happy. I had actually signed this film very long back. At that time, the title was something else. Sajid Nadiadwala sir was on board for it. And we had just done Housefull 4, together.“

She added, “And of course, Salman sir had seen me in Mohenjodaro and some. And he had told me we’ll do something, we’ll work something, we’ll work together. And then kind of this just synced well.”

Talking about understanding the role she was set to play, Pooja continued, “I knew that I was playing a Telugu girl in the film. So, I was like, ‘Oh my god! Amazing’. But, it’s shaped up really well.“

The Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan actress added, “The film has changed and developed a lot over the course of these couple of years. And I’m happy that you know, that the girl has such a big role in this film.”

Hegde continued, “Because, it’s such a great opportunity, when you do a Salman Khan film, you know it’s going to reach the masses. They’re gonna watch it. They’re gonna for sure go ahead and see it. So that’s why, I was like sort of good. And, I’m very excited that that’s gonna happen.”

Meanwhile, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan also stars Venkatesh Daggubati and Jagapathi Babu, in key roles. It features Shehnaaz Gill, Jassie Gill, Siddharth Nigam, Raghav Juyal, Palak Tiwari and Bhumika Chawla, amongst others. The movie is scheduled to release theatrically on April 21.
