EXCLUSIVE: Poulomi Das opens up on facing slut-shaming post Bigg Boss OTT 3 eviction: People are calling me kaali kaluti and daayan

Bigg Boss OTT season 3 has gained a massive attraction from viewers with popular actor Anil Kapoor hosting the show. Recently, Poulomi Das got evicted from the show during mid-week eviction. During her stint in the show, she got in a nasty fight with Shivani Kumari. The latter previously made sexist remarks about Poulomi’s outfit and referred to her as “women like you,” leading to a heated exchange between them. In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, Poulomi reveals facing trolls and slut-shaming post her eviction from Bigg Boss OTT 3 and the incident.

Talking about the insulting remarks against her made by Shivani Kumari on the show, Poulomi Das says in Hindi, “You are an influencer, you are influencing people” Adding that she is now getting derogatory comments on her Instagram too, she continued, “They are calling me kali kaluti, they are calling me dayaan (witch). Before this, my social media was clean, it was very filtered. I’m not used to these comments. And to be very honest, even if you say these things, it does not because I know who I am.”

She continued, “So be happy with the people who are influencing you, mujhe ghanta farak nahi padta. But some people get effected with the comments being made about them. It hurts them. I’ve seen how girls get defamed because of their colour. So be very sure of how you influence people. If I re-enter the show – I earlier said I did the show to show a boy his place, I will do it for all those girls out here who are defamed because of influencers like her”. She also added how she cried after reading such comments as she was slut shamed.
