Pratibha Ranta, known for her roles in ‘Laapata Ladies’ and ‘Heeramandi’, is currently enjoying significant fame. Lauded for her acting skills, she has captivated audiences as Jaya in Aamir Khan’s ‘Laapata Ladies’ and Shama in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Heeramandi’. Her talent has earned her the title of ‘national crush’ on social media. Amidst her rising popularity, Bollywood Bubble had an opportunity to sit down with Pratibha for a candid conversation, where she discussed her personal and professional journey. Pratibha Ranta also talked about her co-star Sharmin Segal receiving backlash from the netizens.

When questioned whether she ever imagined herself in Alamzeb’s role, Ranta said, “No, I never thought like that because the character I was given, I accepted it very gracefully. I received a lot of love for that character. So, I never thought like that, it never crossed my mind.”

The Laapata Ladies actress also opened up on the trolling that her co- star Sharmin Segal has been receiving. Pratibha said, “I think trolling is very difficult to handle. I don’t know how she is covering it up. She’s so strong, you know, the way she is handling it because it is a very difficult position to be in. Any kind of trolling, it’s not healthy.”
Pratibha shared her experience on working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali in Heeramandi. She also praised Sanjeeda Shaikh for making her feel comfortable on the sets. Not only that but she also opened up on her journey from her hometown Shimla and working with sister Aabha Ranta. The actress also admitted to giving auditions even post the success of both her big budget works.
