Pratik Gandhi rose to fame with Hansal Menta directed Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story in the OTT space. Since then, he has been on a roll and cemented his space as the promising actor in Hindi Cinema. He recently made his debut as a host with Amazon mini TV’s crime anthology series, ‘Crimes Aaj Kal 2’. In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, Pratik Gandhi recalled the harrowing incident of getting slapped by a stranger once. He also stated how the incident shook him.

During the candid conversation, we asked the actor about a crime in real life he was subjected to and it made him cautious. He revealed, “So I was traveling to my office in Mumbai local train when I was in working in corporate. And among a bunch of regular travelers when I was commuting from Vile Parle to Vashi, something happened and somebody just came and slapped me. I was frozen wondering what just happened. They were around 6 to 7 of them and I got down at the next station and lodged a complaint at police station. They said its hard to find them but we will keep a check.”

He further stated, “They kept checking for 4-5 days. But that completely shook me from within that something like this can happen anytime and anywhere. I didn’t even get the time to think, it happened so sudden that you constantly question yourself like how can you protect yourself from this kind of world. But a lot of things can be learnt from these kinds of experiences.”
