Prosenjit Chatterjee is one of the most recognized faces in the Bengali industry. He started his acting career in the Bengali industry, but soon stepped into Bollywood. In light of that, we sat down for an exclusive chat with the actor, wherein he shed light on several things. Prosenjit also commented on his and his father’s tiff.
As the conversation got candid, the Bollywood bubble host asked him about his relationship with his father. Prosenjit said he and his dad have a very normal relationship, like everyone else. He elaborated it as, “But now what happens is baap bete ek bar hug kar liye toh thik ho jata hai.Humara koi cinematic relation nahi hai. Humlog ka relationship is just like any other human being. Agar mere kabhi kuch ho jata hai toh I will leave everything and go right now. The world makes us feel like we are supernatural- No. Toh kya hota hai. Kabhi kabhi hotai family mein aisa.”
Later, the Jubilee actor also said that they always hug it out, and Prosenjit sends ‘Pranam’ to his father. Apart from talking about his relationship with his dad, the actor elaborated on several other things. He wonderfully commented on how Bengali cinema has gone through the years and addressed its rises and falls. Prosenjit Da was mentored by Uttam Singh and Soumitra Chatterjee. He also spoke about how have both of them influenced his life and helped his career.
