EXCLUSIVE: Raghu Ram on finding love again post his divorce: I never thought I’d have a relationship ever again

Gauahar Khan and popular hosts of Roadies fame brothers Raghu Ram and Rajiv Lakshman have come together for Netflix dating reality show In Real Love. In an exclusive interview with us, the trio shared how they found love in real life. While Gauahar said she and her husband Zaid connected online. Raghu opened up on falling in love for the second time and marrying again.

The Roadies host opened up on finding love again and said, “Yeah my life has had its share of ups and downs. In my personal life I was married for 10 years then I was single. She’s a buddy of mine but we were no longer a couple. At that time uh I was virtually assaulted because that is really what I feel as I am a little old fashioned and was a little frightened.“

“But I never thought I’d have a relationship ever again but by luck, I met and reconnected with an old friend Natalie de Lucio. She is not from here but from Canada and has never seen my show Roadies. That was a big plus point for me I think. Because I used to feel that if I ever went on a date the girl will be watching TV and asking me to scold her Roadies style.”

“So I felt that I’m going to disappoint this woman, whoever she is whatever reason she has to talk to me she’s going to be disappointed. Because I am not the guy she thinks I am. But there was no such issue with Natalie,” he added.

Raghu Ram on Dating Natalie

Raghu further revealed, ” She comes from a different culture where dating is a part of life growing up so the world of dating was opened up to me with her all kinds of dates, not just movies and dinners. But you know uh weekend trips were gym dates away all kinds of interesting fun you know activities that we were doing together. I really enjoyed it that that’s how I met her and dated her for about a year then we got married.“

For the unversed Raghu was earlier married to actress Sugandha Garg, who has acted in Hindi films such as Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na. The couple got divorced in 2017 after a decade-long relationship. Raghu soon fell in love with Italian Canadian singer Natalie Di Luccio and married her. The couple have a son named Rhythm.
