RajKummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Bheed has hit the theatres on 24th March, 2023. The Anubhav Sinha directorial talks about the heart-wrenching stories of the COVID-19 pandemic. As soon as the teaser of the movie was released, there was a section of the audience trolling the lockdown thriller. Speaking about the same, RajKummar finally addressed the issue during an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble.
RajKummar Rao on people trolling Bheed:
While having a conversation with Bollywood Bubble’s host Akash Bhatnagar, Rajkummar Rao was asked on his take on a section of people considering the movie as a weapon against India. The actor said, “I think that’s their job I respect that. If somebody wants to assume something that’s his or her prerogative. I am nobody to really tell them anything. Because I was sure the kind of film that we have made, and now that we have had couple of screenings, people have come out very moved, very touched, thinking about lot of things that they have in life. Now we are very sure, once they watch the film, all these misunderstanding will get cleared”.
While sharing the teaser on his Instagram, The Badhaai Do actor captioned it as “A crisis that created borders within the country and its people. Teaser Out Now! Witness the invisible story of #Bheed, releasing in cinemas on 24th March 2023”.
After which people began posting hateful comments. One user said “Another propagandist movie from Mr Sinha after Anek’. Another user commented ‘No one is interested’. A third user said ‘Partition pr bnana tha’.
Rajkummar Rao’s reply on all these bitter comments shows his dignity and maturity of mind. The actor has clearly stated that once the audience watches the movie, all their false perceptions would get cleared.
On the work front, Rajkummar Rao’s upcoming movies include SRI, Mr and Mrs Mahi and Stree 2.
