Randeep Hooda on mortgaging his house
“There was a point that no money would be used in the movie from onwards or there were disagreements on the same since the beginning. Then I asked my father who has built a few properties using my money because he thought that I would spend all my money on fast women and slow horses. So he saved a few money and built a few properties. I told my father, ‘I got stuck in between the shoot and I know that people say that never put your own money to make a movie but I had no choice. So what do you say about this?‘” Adding that he agreed to invest money in the movie.

His father told him, “He didn’t hesitate and agreed to it for my hard work and Veer Savarkar, he immediately contacted the bank and bet all the money. Thankfully, everything is back to us. Our film has got breakeven and we are in the profits. Now, I sometimes even joke saying that ‘papa, take some new properties‘”
Randeep Hooda and Ankita Lokhande starrer Swatantrya Veer Savarkar earned Rs 23.99 crore at the Indian box office.
