EXCLUSIVE: Rani Mukerji on Shah Rukh Khan’s support for Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway: We as artists should stand by each other

Rani Mukerji recently delivered a terrific performance in Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway. Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway which is based on a true story is doing well at the box office. Several celebrities including Shah Rukh Khan earlier showered praise on Rani Mukerji for her performance. Now, in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Rani Mukerji opened up about support from Shah Rukh Khan and others for her recent release Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway.

Rani opens up on King Khan’s support

Rani told us, “As an industry we as artists should stand by each other. We have to be able to be cheerleaders for each other and only then will an audience feel that yes there is so much of unity amongst themselves. So ya, I would say that I am truly grateful for all the people who kind of spoke about my film.”

Talking about audiences’ support, Rani said, “I was seeing some public reactions on YouTube and what I felt so amazing is each person came out and told the reviewers and people who were interviewing that ‘Yes, yes , it is a must film’, ‘Y’all must come and watch the film’, ‘This is a good film’. So, it was literally like they were imploring the, like the people who were watching it or who would watch it that please go and sample this film because this film deserves a chance.”

Shah Rukh Khan praises Rani

For the uninitiated, Shah Rukh Khan had showered Rani with praise for her stellar performance in Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway. King Khan had tweeted, “What a tremendous effort by the whole team of Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway. My Rani shines in the central role as only a Queen can. Salman Khan showed his support by attending Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway screening. A picture of Rani posing with Salman earlier went viral on social media.
