EXCLUSIVE: Ranvir Shorey feels Sana Makbul didn’t deserve Bigg Boss OTT 3 win; says, “There were far more deserving people”

After 42 days of ‘captivity,’ Bigg Boss OTT 3 came to an end last night (August 2) and saw Sana Makbul crowned its winner. While Sana lifted the trophy, rapper Naezy was announced the 1st runner-up and Ranvir Shorey was declared the 2nd runner-up. Aside from the trophy, Sana also received a cash prize reward of Rs 25 lakh. Post the grand finale’s end, Bollywood Bubble exclusively interacted with Ranvir on sets.

Ranvir Shorey: Sana Makbul wasn’t the most deserving candidate

Sharing his honest thoughts on Sana Makbul winning Bigg Boss OTT 3 and if she deserved the win, Ranvir says, “Definitely (she didn’t deserve it). I don’t think she’s the most deserving candidate, I’ve never hidden it. Uske muh pe bhi maine yeh kaha hai (I’ve said this to her face also). I think there were far more deserving people.” On being asked who should have lifted the BB OTT trophy instead of Sana, the ‘Sunflower 2’ actor answered, “Naezy, Aarman, me.”‘

Talking about how he’s feeling, Ranvir Shorey said, “I’m exhausted. 42 days of captivity and exhaustion mentally, physically and emotionally – it’s a complete rollercoaster ride. But (I’ve got)experiences and memories that will last a lifetime. Having said that, I won’t do such a show again.”

Ranvir on Armaan Malik’s marriages

Ranvir Shorey was then asked about Armaan Malik’s marriages to Payal Malik and Kritika Malik, and the focus placed on the polygamous relationships. Answering the question, the Bigg Boss OTT 3 second runner-up said, “Absolutely. He’s been judged a lot. Joh press meet hua tha, I thought people were being hostile to them for no reason.”

Stating that there are many polygamous relationships in society, the actor continued, “Agar teen consenting adults apni zindagi ek saath bitana chate hain, toh itna hostile hone ki kya zaroorat? Woh bhi 7 saal tak. They are also irritated that wherever they go, they are asked about the same thing. Talk about their content creation work.”
