Several 90s stars are coming back onscreen and making a spectacular appearance with their projects. While Madhuri Dixit amazed the audience with her beauty in The Fame Game Kajol killed it with her performance in The Trial. Now, actor Raveena Tandon is all set to dazzle in her upcoming series Karmma Calling. Fans are quite excited to see her in an ultimate glamourous role that looks stunning and mysterious onscreen. However, in an interview with Bollywood Bubble, she was asked how the 90s actresses are finally getting their dues by getting the right projects and flourishing in them.
Raveena Tandon on 90s actresses’ finally getting their due
Speaking about the same, Raveena said, “I think at a certain point it does happen to you in the course of your career. But all three of us, even my colleagues’ names that you’ve mentioned, we’ve all had very long careers. Madhuri is a little more senior than Kajol and me and I think that is so amazingly respected in today’s day and age. Sometimes it’s overwhelming, especially the kind of body of work that all three of us are doing and continue to do so. Like I said the story is not over yet. I think even as actors even as people, we’ve only grown and as she said probably become a little better.“
Ruchi Narain shares her views
The director of Karmma Calling Ruchi said, “I feel everything has its time. And that it’s happening now is something we should celebrate and encourage so that more happens subsequently. The kind of work that they’re doing and this show and Raveena and everything it will happen anyway. I think we should appreciate what we have at this moment which is all good but it can become even better.“
Karmma Calling starring Raveena Tandon, Namrata Seth, Rohit Roy will release on January 26.
