EXCLUSIVE: Ridhi Dogra on her divorce from Raqesh Bapat: My career took a backseat at that time

Actors Ridhi Dogra and Raqesh Bapat parted ways after being married for eight years. Even though it has been a while since the two got a divorce, both Ridhi Dogra and Raqesh Bapat have moved on and are doing well in their space. The Maryada actor told us, “It was like when I was in the relationship, that’s all people wanted to talk about. Even if they spoke about work, it would always go back to (that) and I’d be like is there nothing interesting about me? I get why people say they don’t want to talk about private (things). It’s not because they don’t want to talk about it. I would feel like I don’t want to talk about (it because) it just takes away (attention from work) or ask intelligent questions. Ridhi reveals how the separation affected her career

The Asur actor further added, “I do feel like it takes away from it and it did. Honestly, I do feel it, they did, I think my career sort of took a backseat at that time because all I was being asked about was my relationship. But yeah, after I got out of it, I knew that I have to address it so I didn’t mind it. Then I knew that I must address it. I must speak quote and quote give my quotes say what I have to say so that this dies and it’s done.”
