EXCLUSIVE: Ridhi Dogra recalls when people told her to get surgery: It affected me, I tried to do funny things to my face

It is a very common thing where a female actor is being criticised for their looks. They are either said that they don’t look like a heroine or asked them to go under the knife. However, actor Ridhi Dogra was also one of the stars who was criticised for her looks which affected her. That’s right! Someone told her that there was something wrong with her face.

Ridhi on getting affected by people’s comment

The Maryada actor exclusively told us, “Yeah, of course, you get influenced. You do hear people; you do hear a lot of people doing very well around you telling you what to do. Of course, that happens and then there are also people suddenly telling you there’s something wrong with your face. All that happens, it’s happened to me.”

Ridhi Dogra on people criticising her face

When asked why people told her there was something wrong with her face. The Asur actor said, “Yeah, I mean it’s again it’s television. So, I was doing this show and very successfully it was going on. I heard that a few of the team people, very important people, from the team said that your face is too strong. Now, I have a jawline, I’m from Jammu so I have a strong face, strong features. I can’t do anything about it, I can’t like change my face. Halfway through the show, you’re telling me I have a very strong face. So, it did affect me, it affected me. I did try to do some funny things to my face, in the sense that I plucked my eyebrows for the next show that I did.”

Ridhi Dogra further said, “Now, when I look back, I feel like that’s the worst thing I could do but weird things happen. I just love myself too much to ever go under the knife or do all that, I love myself too much. I’m also too grateful to God for whatever the universe has given me. So, I don’t want to mess with what’s naturally there. Unless, of course, I’m old and then things are different and someone wants me to play like a younger 30 years younger person and all of that.”

The Badtameez Dil actor also added a similar thing happened with one of her friends and she told her not to do anything. Moreover, she even revealed that people told her she doesn’t look like a heroine and she was okay with it.
