EXCLUSIVE: Ridhima Pandit confesses Bigg Boss OTT didn’t work in her favour; says, “I was not eliminated in a fair way”

The most controversial and loved show Bigg Boss is a platform where people garner immense fame. They not only bag new projects after being in the house but they also become quite popular on the internet. Bigg Boss contestants like Shehnaaz Gill, Sidharth Malhotra, Manisha Rani, Asim Riaz, Shiv Thakre, Abhishek Kumar and others made it big in the industry. However, it wasn’t the case with Ridhima Pandit who was seen in Bigg Boss OTT season 1.

In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, the Bahu Hamari Rajnikanth actor revealed that BB didn’t work in her favour. She exclusively told us, “In 2021 when things started opening up and heard 10 different opinions from people. I remember taking up the first OTT version of Bigg Boss and it didn’t work in my favour at all. First, I didn’t understand the concept back in the day when they were playing which was around partners. As long as if I was playing alone then I would have gone really far ahead but it did not work out for me. I think I was not eliminated in a fair way but it’s okay. We win or lose in a show.

“In Khatron Ke Khiladi 9, I was the second runner-up. Sometimes, I’m still baffled by how I managed to do it because the strength came from within you. So there are no complaints, there are no regrets but yes, I do feel there’s a lack of opportunities for actors.”

Ridhima was asked if Bigg Boss is biased towards certain contestants. She said, “I don’t know about bias but a lot of people have become popular by doing the show. People who were nobody have become a celebrity. But yes, the show has power and is loved by a lot of people. I as a viewer have really enjoyed it but to play it was a different ball game. I don’t know about biasedness but in my case, it just didn’t work out.”
