EXCLUSIVE: Ridhima Pandit on comparison between Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya and Bahu Hamari Rajnikant; I really liked Kriti Sanon

Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya movie starring Kriti Sanon and Shahid Kapoor was a story of a man falling in love with a robot. In the movie, Kriti essayed the role of a robot who gets married to Shahid’s character. However, after the trailer was released, people were instantly reminded of Karan Grover and Ridhima Pandit’s Bahu Hamari Rajnikant which was also on similar lines. Fans started creating reels, showing the similarities between the two. Reacting to the comparisons between Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya and Bahu Hamari Rajnikant, Ridhima Pandit expressed her gratitude.

The Bigg Boss OTT fame exclusively told us, “I was very thankful and feel gratitude towards a lot of people who feel like that. It means the world to me that I have worked and people like me so much and they still like me today. I don’t talk much about the comparisons, I don’t like to comment on it. But I really liked Kriti Sanon in Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya because she is so gorgeous to look at. Coming to the robotic act, if people have loved me more, then I have to pat my own back and say thank you.“

“A show that was so logical and humorous in the right way. It touched all the chords. It had a social message at the end of the episode, it has a humourous side to it. Yes, the show was definitely ahead of its time. Today, if you see there are so many shows on robots but when we were kids, there was Small Wonder. Then there was Karishma Ka Karishma which was also based on Robots. When we came with our show, at that time, many were showing shows in different timelines. The robotic show was like a fresh breath of air. Needless to say, it has inspired a lot of people to make something on similar lines which is a great thing.“
