EXCLUSIVE: Rohit Saraf shares the best advice Priyanka Chopra gave him during The Sky Is Pink shoot

Actor Rohit Saraf is gearing up for the release of Ishq Vishk rebound which is slated to release on June 21. During a candid chat with Bollywood Bubble, Rohit happened to share an exciting anecdote related to his The Sky Is Pink co-star Priyanka Chopra. In a fun memory book segment, he was given a photo of himself with Priyanka and asked to share the story behind the picture. Rohit recalled the time when PeeCee entered the bar wearing a wig and she looked cool. Moreover, he also revealed the best advice that she gave him during the shoot.

The Mismatched actor told us, “We were shooting for our first proper schedule together in The Sky Is Pink. The entire crew was wrapped and there was a mini-wrap party. I did not wrap it as I was still shooting in London on my last day. We were shooting the tube station scene on my last day and the night before, we went to Soho, London. At that time I went up to PeeCee and said that I wanted to take a photo with you as I’m a huge fan. After 7 days of shooting, I told her that ‘I’m a huge fan of you.“

“Can I take a photograph with you’? She said, ‘Of course.’ She is so cool. That night when she walked into that bar, she was wearing a wig and I was like, ‘Wow, she looks so cool but why did she cut her hair though‘? And that time, I said ma’am can we take a picture and then she removed her wig,” he recalled.

He continued, “And this was the night when she said one of the kindest things to me. I said, ‘I’m not going to drink, I’m not going to eat’ because I was shooting a really important scene the next day and I don’t want to screw up at all. I want to go back to the hotel and I want to learn my lines as it was a monologue.’ And she was like ‘Why are you so nervous?’ I said, ‘Because it is an important scene of my character.’ Then she said, ‘You’re here because you’re fit for the job and you deserve to be here, so you need to stop freaking out so much. Just have a good time and tomorrow go for a run, you’re prepared. We have done this scene before, you’ll be absolutely fine.’ I had the best night.“

Directed by Shonalli Bose, The Sky Is Pink also starred Zaira Wasim and Farhan Akhtar. The movie was based on the life of motivational speaker Aisha Chaudhary, who died in 2015 when she was 18.
