Sanya recalls SRK’s advice

Sanya told us, “He is so passionate about what he does. And also, my biggest takeaway is something that he told me ‘dil ki suno, dimag ki nahi. Zyada socha mat kar. Tu bohot sochti hai, zyada mat soch.’ (Listen to your heart, not your mind. Don’t think so much. You overthink a lot, don’t do that).”

Sanya added, “So, that kind of stayed back and I took that advice. I’m an overthinker and I think he could sense it. He could sense it completely. And right after he told me that, I was going to Sam Bahadur set to shoot and that kind of stayed. And that helped me really to be present, to not overthink about what I am going to do in a scene and just relax. And he also says that serious acting nahi karni hai. But there are so many things that I got to learn from sir.”

The actress further went on to add that she used to watch his interviews to learn from him. She said, “You should watch his interviews. There’s so much you can learn from Shah Rukh (Khan) sir. The kind of wisdom and knowledge that he has about so many subjects. Not just about filmmaking but other stuff in the society,” said Sanya.

Sanya praises her Jawan co-star
