EXCLUSIVE: ‘Shah Rukh Khan and I used to bully Deepika Padukone on Om Shanti Om sets’; reveals Shreyas Talpade

Shreyas Talpade has delivered stellar performance over the years, He is best known for his roles in movies like Golmaal, Kaun Pravin Tambe, Housefull, Welcome to Sajjanpur, Om Shanti On among many others. In an exclusive memory book segment with Bollywood Bubble, Shreyas Talpade walked down memory lane and talked about his experience working with Shah Rukh Khan and shares how they used to bully Deepika Padukone on the sets of Om Shanti Om.

Shreyas Talpade on Shah Rukh bullying Deepika Padukone

During the chat, we showed Shreyas a picture featuring him, SRK and Deepika. While recalling fun memories from sets, he shares how Shah Rukh used to bully Deepika as she was a newcomer. He says, “This is one of my favourites, during the shoot of Om Shanti Om. It was the sequence where Shanti (Deepika Padukone) comes to meet Om (Shah Rukh Khan). I think it was 2^nd or 3^rd night when our shooting started. Aur tab hum shoot ke time bahut masti kar rahe the. Kyuki Deepika nayi thi, toh usko bhi thoda sa bully kar rahe the hum. (We were having a lot of fun while shooting for it. And I remember, since Deepika was a newcomer, we used to bully her). And Shah Rukh was the way he is, very witty and funny.” For those unversed, Shreyas essayed the role of SRK’s friend in movie.

Apart from Shah Rukh, Shreyas also praised Salman Khan. He revisited the picture when Salman graciously posed with the cast of Teen Thay Bhai. The actor says, “We were at Filmistaan for promoting Teen Thay Bhai and Bhai was also there shooting for his film. And he very gracefully agreed to click a picture with all of us.”

Apart from this, the actor also relived Iqbal, Dor and Golmaal days. He recalls calling Ajay Devgn ‘big mommy’ when he decked up as lady for one of the scenes.
