Sharad Malhotra is married to a Delhi-based designer Ripci Bhatia. Sharad and Ripci are happily married. However, earlier this year, it was reported that all is not well in Sharad and Ripci’s marriage. It was also said that they are planning to give their marriage another chance and what not. Now, in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Sharad Malhotra slammed reports of trouble in his marriage.
Here’s what Sharad had to say…
The actor told us, “It’s very simple. It’s my house, it’s my family, it’s my space. Nobody gets into it. Ya toh aap mere ghar mein ghuse, toh main aapke ghar mein ghuske mujhe joh karna woh mein karunga. It’s as simple as that. Mein aapke ghar mein ghus raha hu, nahi ghus raha hu. Toh aap mere ghar mein mat ghusiye (If you get into my house, then I will get into your house and do what I feel like. It’s as simple as that. Am I entering you house, no right? You don’t get into my house).”
Sharad added, “Aapko mujhe har ek character mein dekhna hai, different character mein dekhna hai, aap dekhiye mein dikhaunga (If you want to see me in any character, you see me) But you should know where to draw the line. It’s humanity.”
He continued, “Isme koi actor, non-actor ki baat nahi ho rahi hai. Ek basic courtesy hoti hai ki aapko pata hai ki aapko kaha line draw karni hai. Agar aapko kuch personal karna bhi ho toh mujhe puchiye. You have no right to barge into an house. That’s my space. Koi mere ghar mein phirse ghusega toh mein phirse nahi chodunga (This is not about any actor or non-actor. It’s a basic courtesy where you should know where to draw the line. If you want to ask anything personal, ask me. You have no right to barge into a house. If someone enters my house, I will not leave them).”

Following the fake news, Shahid had earlier released a statement dismissing the reports on his marriage. The statement read, “Ripci and I were approached by the publication last week regarding any turbulence in our marriage and I just did not find it worthy enough to even acknowledge or give a revert. A week later, a story is printed with baseless imaginary stories again quoting some “source” from our inner circle. Our families have been mentally harassed because of this.”
Sharad and Ripci tied the knot in 2019. Going by Sharad’s social media posts, they are enjoying their married life.
